Irondale Summer Basketball 2010
May 17, 2010, 9:40 am

Dear Players and Parents:

This summer we are offering basketball opportunities to all players. These offerings are all voluntary, but we would love for the girls to take advantage of the opportunity to work on their game. The time and effort put in now will make a big difference towards our team success.

TEAM CAMP: July 19-23 @ Irondale High School. See flyer for more

information. This is an opportunity for the players to work with the coaches to improve their skills and get a good idea of what is expected of them at the varsity level. The “TEAM CAMP” has proven to be a valuable tool for team improvement.

Summer Teams: We will play in two Team Camps throughout the summer. We will try and have two teams if possible. The players have to pay to play. It is against High School league rules for us to pay for them. The first 20 paid will play. Cost $90 dollars Deadline for money in, is May 29th. Make Check payable to Irondale High School.

*Concordia College League:  June 7th- - July 14th.  Evening games, times to be determined.

*Bethel College league: June 8th and June 15th Evening Games

Summer Practice: Irondale High School-New Gym. This open to any Irondale basketball player entering grades 7-12. No fee charged. Coaches will be present to work with the players.

Opportunities!
Dec 5, 2009, 4:55 pm

Welcome Players, Parents and Guardians!

The girls have started the season and are off to a positive start.  As a team of parents, there are opportunities still available to support our program's sucess. Our time is our most valuable asset and we're excited to offer the following opportunities for you to share your time and talents with us:

All players need to sign up for grocery bagging at the St. Anthony Cub Foods.

December 19, 2009

3pm-8pm

Contact Lisa Halverson ASAP

lkhalverson@msn.com

All parents need to sign up for concessions at all home games. Many slots are available and need to be filled.  Contact Heidi Ifkewitsch:  ifkewitsch@msn.com

These two opportunities are vital to our program. This year the Hoops Club decided to forgo the annual $25.00 booster fee per girl.  We are asking that you contribute your mom/dad power instead.  As we grow the team the funds earned go to the shooting shirts supplied to every girl on every squad, banquet expenses, uniforms, treats for bus rides et cetera.

Thank you in advance!
